The Emmons Island Haunted Trail is back on

Saturday October 12, 2024

Its purpose is….

to collect and disperse food and other necessary items to Local Food Shelf's, that are in need, within the communities of Grand Island County.

to help inform and educate people in our area of the existence of the need for their ongoing support.

To help the efforts in providing food to all who seek it.

Check the website below

The Champlain Islands Food Shelf needs your help.

We have seen a 40% increase in the number of people using the food shelf since last year. Food prices are sky high for everyone, including the food shelf.

Your donation can help ensure our shelves stay stocked with healthy, nutritious food for anyone in Grand Isle County who is facing hunger.

Mary, a regular user of the food shelf says, “My family eats healthy because of this food shelf. It means the world to me.”

Every week, new families visit the Food Shelf. Help us feed everyone who comes to us. Imagine knowing the only way to feed your children would be if you skipped dinner? This is a reality for many Vermonters facing hunger. The Food Shelf feeds families. We also feed your neighbors and your co-workers.

Elaine, another weekly client said, “I’m treated like a person, not a problem when I come here.”

Help us continue our mission to feed people with dignity with a generous donation.

Checks, debit/credit cards and/or paypal accepted.
